This patient was a 59-year-old diabetic with an ulcer on his great toe. Previous surgical intervention consisted of bone spur removal and multiple debridements over a one-year period. He was referred for application of OroGen Plus. (figure 1) He was seen three and a half weeks later with complete resolution of his ulcer (figure 2).

2. Twenty-three days after first treatment of OroGen Plus™The patient below underwent face lift surgery and experienced a dehiscence and non-healing open wound in the right post-auricular region, Fig 1, below left.
This patient had just one treatment of PRP with OroGen Plus™, and the wound was closed completely in eleven days, see Fig 2 below.

Alopecia Areata is an auto-immune disorder that causes patients to lose hair in various areas of their scalp and body. It can come and go, and the current treatment is a series of cortisone injections that may or may not work.
This patient presented to a dermatologist 6 months prior to the before photo in (Fig 1), below left. The area expanded in a 2 cm circular area outward from the inner bald area on the before photo (Fig 1) when the patient was referred to OroGen.
The patient had one session of PRP injections into her scalp and was growing hair at one month. In Fig 2 (below right) you can see that hair at six months is over 2 inches long with just one treatment.
This is a very significant case study because this was the first case ever that PRP was use for this condition. Our theory is that the cytokines or proteins located on the platelets reduced the inflammatory effect of the T-cells. They "turned-on" the stem cells in the follicular-bulge that were dormant in the affected area, causing hair to begin to regrow.

2. One year after treatment of OroGen Plus™
This 26 year old male was unable to take finasteride 1mg (Propecia), due to side effects, so he elected to have frontal hairline transplantation. His posterior crown was traumatized with a 1mm micro needling roller (Clinical Resolutions, Inc, Beverly Hills, CA) and platelet rich composition was injected throughout the area. No hair transplantation was done in the crown. Fig 1, below left, is the before photo of the posterior crown and Fig 2, below right, is the same patient eight months later.
This case demonstrated a reversal of non-transplanted hair miniaturization after eight months in the posterior crown and aesthetic thickening of his hair, without taking medicine or having surgery. It is "completely safe" because it is his own cells. Like Propecia, cellular therapy works best in younger patients just loosing their hair and results vary from patient to patient.
